Who did you I like the least? I didn't really care for Lauren. It always felt like she was written in because Jack needed a wife. Had she been removed from the story, I don't think many things would have changed. Other readers may feel different.
What are the themes of this book? Mystery, thriller, paranormal and family relationships. Jack has more than one troubled relationship and as the story progresses, readers witness his best effort to fix things although sometimes results turn out exactly the opposite from what he expected.
Were you able to connect with the main character and why? Any parent will be able to connect with Tremont. You have your own issues to deal with but you also need to protect your children and you are always second guessing yourself if you are doing the right thing.
