What I I liked about the main character - There were two main characters, equally strong in the story so it is difficult to say which one is better than the other. Cassie's story is one that many of us know, have heard or seen with our eyes, she is definitely a woman of strength and one character I will recommend for others to read.
Top 3 things I liked about the setting in this book - The story is powerful and if the author chosen an overpowering setting, it may not have worked so well so I really liked that the setting blended in and didn't distract the reader from the story.
Cover - At first glance, all you see is the man in uniform and then you see the bald, frail figure which tells you this story is not going to be your regular love story. I liked the cover and it connected with the story.
