What would the main character be likely to do if s/he visited? She would speak of her family. And I expect she would sound like Paddy.
If you were in a problem situation like one in the book, how would you have acted? I would always help my family if they needed me. Mauve was being black mailed by her husband.
What lesson did you learn from the story? Family relationships are important and despite the ups and downs, blood is always thicker than water.
